It's no secret small towns capture the imagination of those who need a place to fit in. This is why we decided on our couple’s weekend away, of all areas, to camp in Bellaire. A quirky campsite just off the road is located so close to many things. With just under an hour's jaunt to Traverse City, near the Leelanau Peninsula, and in the cutest downtown area, our imaginations and bellies were filled with the spoils of small-town life so close to something big.

A perfect time to connect, hang out, and enjoy the time as just us.
