Sailing the High Seas with Disney

Feasting with Flair on the Disney Magic

Dining aboard the Disney Magic is best described as enchanting. From the moment you step into the elegantly themed restaurants, you're transported into a whimsical world where dining meets imagination. Whether you're attending a delightfully themed character dining experience or revelling in the time alone in basking in the ambience of an adults-only venue, every meal is its own unique feast.

Disney does something fascinating with its dining arrangement called rotational dining.

Rotational dining is the concept of eating at your assigned restaurant each night with its distinct menu and your assigned servers. Yup, each party on the ship is assigned a serving team who takes care of you the entire time. They learned each of my preferences and were even able to suggest what to eat each night for dinner. It was wonderful!

On our ship, we had Animators PaletteLumeires, and Rapunzel's Royal Table. It makes sense, but on a 5-day cruise, you'll have a repeater or two. Restaurant, yes, menu, NO! Each night, the menu in the restaurant we were assigned to was different, with Pirate Night being its own thing. Then there's lunch, where you can go to Cabanas, the big buffet-style restaurant, on board OR dine in one of the open dining rooms with its unique lunch menu. It's your choice!

Then there are the poolside options.

We got to choose from snacking at Daisy's Dine In Delight, which has paninis, build-your-own bowls, sandwiches, and fruit. The next option was Donald's Grill, which had a new vegan-style hot dog daily! I was so excited; each one had its own flavor and was so tasty. That Korean Slaw Dog and the Italian dog are delightful. Plus, this is where you can get fries, impossible burgers, regular burgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, and just your basic all-American grilled eats. Around the corner was unlimited soft serve. I LOVED the mango surprise! Lastly, we had Pinocchio's Pizzaria serving made-to-order pizza all day long.

The adulting choice was also making a dining reservation for Palo, which was worth it. Unlike the other restaurants on board, it's an additional fee, but it is also adults-only, and everything was incredible. Well worth the special moment. It's like being transported to another world when you arrive at Palo.

Lastly, there are the lounges; there is an additional fee, but they are worth checking out while aboard! Annnnnddddd... they have MOCKTAILS! I wasn't expecting it, but man, I was pleasantly surprised. Each drink was detailed and HUGE. It was like two glasses worth in each drink.

You won't go hungry while cruising, and each meal aims to top the last!
